Why does Tactyn exist?

Working with AI agents across several projects scatters everything: terminals in different windows, editors left open, forgotten sessions. An agent stops and asks for a confirmation, and nobody sees it. The subscription runs out in the middle of a task, without warning. Splitting work between agents becomes manual work.

Tactyn puts it in one place: all projects and agents in one cockpit, with an alert for who is waiting on you, a maestro that splits tasks and a meter for what is left on each subscription.

Where does the name come from?

Tactyn comes from “tactus”, the Latin word for touch and, in music, the conductor's beat: the gesture that marks the time so everyone plays together. The name fits both halves of the product, orchestrating and measuring.

The symbol is a dial with three hands. The one highlighted is the agent that needs you.

How the product thinks.

Show the state, do not promise speed. Tactyn does not say you will finish faster. It shows what is happening, so you can decide.

The user approves; the maestro proposes. The plan and the merge of the result always go through you.

Everything runs on the user's machine. The official CLIs, with the subscriptions you already have. No code, prompt or project data leaves your computer; the server keeps only your email, your plan and the billing status.

Attention goes to whoever is waiting on you. The rest stays quiet.

Never delete the user's work. Going back to the Free plan deletes nothing, and cancelling a mission does not delete branches or worktrees.
