Tactyn

Questions, answered straight.

Short answers about cost, compatibility, privacy and how the app works.

The models and the app

Do I have to pay for the models again?

No. You use the subscriptions and API keys you already have (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini). Tactyn does not resell models or charge per token: it charges only for the app.

What is Tactyn?

A desktop app that brings your command-line AI agents into one place: terminals in tabs per project, an alert when an agent stops and waits for you, a usage meter for your subscriptions, and a conductor that splits a request into tasks.

Plans and billing

What does the Free plan include?

One project, terminals, all supported agents, open in VS Code, screenshots and attachments, a browser for the agents, and the meter for one provider.

How much is Pro?

Pro is US$ 10 a month or US$ 100 a year outside Brazil, and R$ 29 a month or R$ 290 a year in Brazil. The yearly plan gives you 2 months free. The pricing page shows the amount in your currency.

Is there a refund?

Yes, in full, within 7 days of the first purchase.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Pro keeps running until the end of the paid period. After that, the app asks you to pick one project to stay active; the others are kept and come back when you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted.

How do I pay? Is there Pix?

Outside Brazil, you pay in US dollars by card through Stripe. In Brazil, you pay by credit card on the monthly and yearly plans, and by Pix on the yearly plan only, with no automatic renewal (we email you before it expires). Tactyn does not store card details.

Compatibility

Which agents work?

Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity CLI and OpenCode. Each one runs in its own terminal inside Tactyn, with your own account. The agents page shows the status of each one on each system.

Does it work on Windows?

Yes: on Windows 11 and macOS (beta). Linux comes later.

Privacy

Does my code go to any server?

No. Terminals, worktrees and diffs stay on your machine, and no code leaves it because of Tactyn. The agents still talk to their own providers, as they would outside the app.

What does the Tactyn server store?

Only your email, your plan, the subscription status and the payment identifiers. That is enough to check the license.

Technical

Does the conductor merge on its own?

No. It proposes the plan, you approve it, and each task runs in its own worktree and branch. Nothing reaches the base branch until you have seen the diff.

Do I need git?

For the conductor, yes: the folder must be a repository with at least one commit, because each task uses a worktree. Terminals work in any folder.

Can I use it offline?

The terminals and the app work. The Pro license is verified locally and holds for up to 14 days without a connection. The agents need their own internet access.

How do I update the app?

Download the new version from the download page and install it over the old one. Your projects and settings stay as they are.

Try it with one project, for free.

US$ 10 a month for all your projects, with a full refund within 7 days.
